:) There are a big hope to heal our issues when there is a real love around them. This is how we must respect the nature and not to destroy by man made. It regrows from the wounds that should not damage again and again. That is my consideration of many things around human beings in this Mother Nature world. :)

Thank you for bringing it up. You did a good job as far as I can appreciate that someone else like you think about it seriously. :)

Woodpeckers may be hard to find but my hearing daughters often tell me they are distracted by their tapping in the forest around my home. What brought me to see this one bird was my cats when both made a sudden dash for the window as if fire engines had arrived. The lot was empty. However, I followed the felines' attention to find a red-headed woodpecker hammering at the base of a tree across the driveway. It was fascinating seeing it nimbly hopping up and down on the bark, sometimes upside down. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi Phil

I saw woodpecker with red cap two days ago at my wife's parents' country home near Windsor Ontario. I find it beautiful and very movable bird (plenty of energy to move and fly around). I took pictures of it but I left it at another computer. I will try to find it and upload it.

Is that one with red cap you saw?

Very interesting and informative. I love in organic stuff and believe in nature thing without chemical. I will check at the Whole Foods Market (healthy store) to see if they have maple syrup from Vermont. They do have several and we picked one is very expensive but it is delicious! When I find out about this at the store, I will let you know. :-)

Phil:

I love your vlogs- they are welcome breaks from all the intense vlogs and blogs out there! There's something folksy about your topics about the great State of Vermont that beckons me back! Amazing that when I worked with you before, it was usually related to complex, technological and business issues and now you are explaining about very simple things that we take for granted. It is refreshing to see that you are doing this!

Thank you!
